Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released the notification for MP TET Varg 3 (Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test – Samvida Shikshak TET) 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online from 10 August 2025 to 25 August 2025 for eligibility to become Primary Teacher (class 1-5) in government schools of MP. The exam will be held in October 2025. Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit:
  • Education (Any One):
    • 12th Pass with at least 50% + 2-yr D.El.Ed (BTC) OR
    • 12th Pass with at least 45% + 2-yr D.El.Ed (per NCTE) OR
    • 12th Pass with at least 50% + 4-yr B.El.Ed OR
    • 12th Pass with at least 50% + 2-yr Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
    • Graduate + 2-yr D.El.Ed OR
    • Graduate + B.Ed (per NCTE, for lower primary)
  • Age Limit: Minimum 21 years (as on 01 January 2025). Upper age as per MP Govt rules (OBC/SC/ST/PwD relaxation).
  • Notes:
    • Candidates in final year of their qualifying course can also apply.
    • Only Madhya Pradesh domicile can get reservation benefit.

Physical Standards:No physical standards required for MP TET (Varg 3) exam.

Exam Pattern:
  • Single Paper, Objective Type, 150 Questions (150 Marks), Duration: 2.5 hours
  • No negative marking
  • Sections:
    • Child Development & Pedagogy: 30 Qs
    • Language I (Hindi): 30 Qs
    • Language II (English/Other): 30 Qs
    • Mathematics: 30 Qs
    • Environmental Studies: 30 Qs

  1. CBT (Computer Based Test) only – qualifying nature
