Brief Description:
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has invited online applications for 4002 Constable vacancies in the J&K Police, Home Department, under Advt No. 01/2024. The posts include various cadres (Armed/IRP, Executive, SDRF, Telecommunication, Photographer) with region-wise and trade-wise vacancies. Selection will be through Written Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Physical Endurance Test (PET).
Eligible candidates can apply online between 8 August 2024 and 7 September 2024 (11:59 PM) on the official website. The written exam was held on 1st, 8th & 22nd December 2024, and the result released on 15 January 2025. PET/PST is scheduled for August–September 2025. |

Females: 1000m race (6 min), shot put (14.5 ft, 4kg), qualifying only
