Brief Description:
RPSC invites online applications for direct recruitment to 3,225 posts of School Lecturer (PGT) and Coach (27 subjects) in the Secondary Education Department of Rajasthan. All posts are permanent. Subject-wise vacancy classification and reservation will be notified separately by RPSC in due time. Apply online as per schedule.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
  • For Subjects (S. No. 1-12, 14-16): Post Graduate or equivalent exam recognized by UGC in the relevant subject with Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government.
  • S. No. 13 (Home Science): PG/equivalent recognized by UGC/ICAR in Home Science with B.Ed. or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government.
  • S. No. 17 (Biology): PG/equivalent in Zoology/Botany/Micro-Biology/Bio-Technology/Life Science/Bio Science (must have studied Botany & Zoology at graduation) + B.Ed./equivalent recognized by NCTE/Government.
  • S. No. 18 (Commerce): (i) PG or equivalent in Commerce with B.Com. OR PG/equivalent in Commerce with two teaching subjects for Higher Secondary as prescribed by RBSE for Commerce group.
    (ii) Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government.
  • S. No. 19 (Drawing): PG or equivalent recognized by UGC in Drawing OR diploma (4-5 years) in Arts from recognized school/college of arts.
  • S. No. 20 (Music): PG or equivalent in Music (recognized) or as declared equivalent by Government.
  • S. No. 21 (Physical Education): Graduate or equivalent + PG in Physical Education/M.P.Ed. (2 years) recognized by NCTE.
  • Coach (S. No. 22-27): Graduate or equivalent + Degree/Diploma in Physical Education + Full-term National Institute of Sports (NIS) Certificate in concerned event.
  • For all posts: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script AND knowledge of Rajasthani culture is compulsory.
  • Candidates appearing in final year may apply, but must produce proof of qualification before competitive exam/document verification.
Age Limit
(as on 01.01.2026)		 Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 40 years
Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Male of Rajasthan): +5 yrs; SC/ST/OBC/EWS (Female): +10 yrs; Gen. Female: +5 yrs; Widows/divorced women: No upper age limit; PwBD: +5 yrs; Ex-servicemen: +10 yrs (max. age 50); see notification for further rules.
Note: Only one relaxation is allowed (not cumulative); other exceptions apply; see full notification for details.
Nationality Citizen of India/Nepal/Bhutan as per rules (with certificates)

Pay Structure
Pay Scale Pay Matrix Level L-12 (Grade Pay ₹4,800)
Fixed Salary during Probation As per Rajasthan Government rules

Selection Process
  • Written Competitive Exam: Objective-type; Two papers (Paper-1: 150 marks, 1.5 hrs; Paper-2: 300 marks, 3 hrs; 450 marks total). All questions are MCQ.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 marks deducted for every incorrect/multiple answer.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% per paper (5% relaxation for SC/ST). Ex-servicemen & persons with specified disabilities get relaxations per rules.
  • Document Verification: For those provisionally selected based on merit.
  • Merit List: As per marks obtained in written exam.
  • Sports awards (for Physical Education): Marking as per certificate level (see notification for details).

  2. Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on SSO Portal. Ensure all personal details, Aadhaar, and certificates match correctly.
  3. Log in, fill the online application via “Recruitment Portal”, upload required documents, live photo, signature, and pay applicable fee online.
  4. Check and submit your final form. Save or print your application for future use.
