The Indian Air Force has opened Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2026 recruitment for approx. 2,500 posts under the Agnipath scheme. Both unmarried male & female candidates across India are eligible to apply. Selection will involve an online exam, physical fitness, adaptability tests, and a medical exam.

| Eligibility Criteria |
- Age Limit: 17.5 years to 21 years (born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009, both dates inclusive).
- Educational Qualification:
- Science Subjects: 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, English with minimum 50% overall & 50% in English OR 3-Year Engineering Diploma (minimum 50% overall & 50% in English) OR 2-Year Vocational with Physics & Math (minimum 50% overall & 50% in English).
- Other Subjects: 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with minimum 50% overall & 50% in English OR 2-Year Vocational Course (50% overall & 50% in English).
- Marital Status: Unmarried Male & Female candidates only.
- Medical/Physical: Height: 152.5cm (male), 152cm (female); Running: 1.6km in 7 min (male), 8 min (female); plus standard push-ups, sit-ups, squats, vision and chest norms as per notification.
