The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) invites online applications for recruitment to 67 Food Safety Officer (FSO) posts under Advertisement No. 04/2025. These are permanent Group B posts in the Public Health and Medical Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
Eligible candidates with relevant graduation, post-graduation, or doctoral degrees in Food Technology and related disciplines can apply online from 11 July 2025 to 10 August 2025 (up to 12:00 PM). Selection will be through an OMR-based written examination followed by an interview.

| Eligibility Criteria |
- Educational Qualification: Graduation, post-graduation, or Doctoral degree from a recognized university in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine or related disciplines as specified in the official notification.
- Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 40 years. Age relaxation applies as per Madhya Pradesh government norms: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD, 5 years for government employees and women candidates.
- Nationality: Must be Indian citizen.

The selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Written Examination: OMR-based objective type test (400 marks).
- Interview: Candidates qualifying the written exam will be called for an interview to assess overall suitability.
Final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks of written exam and interview. |
