| Eligibility Criteria |
- Age Limit (Direct): 35–40 years as on last date (for ex-servicemen: defense service years + 3 yrs relaxation).
- Qualification: 10+2 with at least 60% in English, LLB degree from a recognized university, and computer proficiency certificate.
- Nationality: Indian.

Salary & allowances as per latest Punjab Government rules for Group B posts, as adopted for High Court employees.

| Selection Process & Exam Pattern |
Total 280 marks:
- Written Exam (250 marks)
- Paper 1: English Composition (50 marks, 3 hrs, English language skills, grammar, comprehension)
- Paper 2: Civil Law (100 marks, 3 hrs, CPC, Limitation Act, Punjab HC Rules, Constitutional Law)
- Paper 3: Criminal Law (100 marks, 3 hrs, BNS, BNSS, Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam)
- Viva-Voce (Interview): 30 marks. Only those qualifying all written papers and computer test will be considered.
- Qualifying Marks: As per official notification. Final merit = Written + Viva-Voce.
- Computer Proficiency: Separate qualifying test is mandatory.
