The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai has released the official notification for recruitment of 1,010 Trade Apprentice posts for various trades under Advertisement No. APP/01/2025-26. Online applications started on 12 July 2025 and will close on 11 August 2025 (05:30 PM). The recruitment is merit-based followed by document verification, with no written examination.
Age limit is 15 to 24 years as on 11 August 2025 with relaxations for reserved categories. Minimum qualification for freshers is 10th pass with 50% marks and Science/Math in 12th; Ex-ITI candidates require 2-year ITI certificate in related trade.

| Eligibility Criteria |
- Age Limit (as on 11 August 2025): 15 to 24 years. Age relaxations apply as per government rules – OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10 years).
- Educational Qualification:
- Freshers: Must have passed Class 10th with minimum 50% marks from recognized board. Candidates having passed 12th with Science & Maths are preferred.
- Ex-ITI Candidates: Must have Class 10th (50% marks) and 2-year ITI certificate in a relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
