The ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (ICMR-NIRT), Chennai, under the Indian Council of Medical Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, invites online applications for recruitment to 16 Administrative Posts including Assistant, Upper Division Clerk (UDC), and Lower Division Clerk (LDC). Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online by 14 August 2025.
Selection will be through Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Computer Proficiency/Skill Test.

| Eligibility Criteria |
- Assistant: Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution with good working knowledge of computer applications (MS Office/PowerPoint).
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Degree from recognized university or equivalent and typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (10500/9000 KDPH).
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th class pass or equivalent from recognized board/university and typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (10500/9000 KDPH).
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (relaxations as per Govt. rules for reserved categories).
- Nationality: Indian citizen.

| Selection Process |
Selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Phase 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) to assess general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and English language skills.
- Phase 2: Computer Proficiency/Skill Test to evaluate typing speed and computer skills relevant to the post.
- Final merit list will be prepared based on CBT and skill test performance.
