The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has released the CAP Round 1 seat allotment results for the 2025 academic year on July 31, 2025. Candidates who appeared for MHT CET and participated in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Round 1 can now check their seat allotment status online through the official MHT CET portal. The allotment is based on candidates’ scores, rank, availability of seats, and preferences submitted during counselling. Candidates who receive seat allotment must proceed to accept the allocated seat and complete the reporting and document verification at their allotted institutes from August 1 to August 3, 2025.

How to Check MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result
Visit the official website: fe2025.mahacet.org On the homepage, click on the “CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment” link. Enter your Application Number and Password or Date of Birth in the login window. The seat allotment result PDF or status will be displayed on screen. Download and save or print the seat allotment letter for admission formalities.

Seat Acceptance and Reporting Process

Candidates allotted a seat in the first preference will have that seat automatically frozen and are not eligible for further rounds. All candidates who accept their allotted seat must: Confirm seat acceptance by logging into the portal between August 1 and August 3, 2025, up to 5 PM. Report in person at the allotted institute for document verification and payment of admission fees within the same dates. Carry original documents including MHT CET seat allotment letter, mark sheets, caste/domicile certificates, and ID proof. Failure to report by the deadline can result in cancellation of the seat allotment.
