The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway, Kolkata has released the official notification for the engagement of 3,115 Act Apprentice posts in various divisions and workshops under the Apprenticeship Act for 2025-26. The application window is open online from 14 August 2025 (11:00 AM) to 13 September 2025 (11:59 PM) via the official portal rrcer.org.
Eligible candidates can apply for training slots in trades across Howrah, Liluah, Sealdah, Kanchrapara, Malda, Asansol, and Jamalpur units. Selection purely on merit of marks in 10th and ITI.

| Educational Qualification |
- Class 10 (Matric) with at least 50% marks (aggregate) under 10+2 system from a recognized board
- ITI certificate in the notified trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute

| Selection Process |

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared by averaging marks in Class 10 and ITI trade certificate, followed by document verification and medical examination. There will be no written test or interview.

All apprentices will be paid a stipend as per rules of the Apprentices Act, Eastern Railway norms.
