| Eligibility Criteria |
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science, or M.Tech (with specialization in Computer Application) from a recognized university OR
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology from a recognized university OR
- Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science OR Degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university OR
- Master’s Degree or Degree in Engineering from a recognized university OR
- ‘A’ Level Diploma under DOEACC Programme or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications/Post-Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Applications awarded by State Council of Technical Education or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in system-related roles.
- Age Limit (as on 14 August 2025): Maximum 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST, and 45 years for PwBD candidates.
- Nationality: Indian citizen.

Selection will be made either through:
- Recruitment Test (Objective Type) followed by Interview OR
- Interview only (at UPSC discretion), based on performance and eligibility.
The final appointment will be at Directorate of Income Tax (Systems), Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance. |
